Terry Wing-Fai Kan, Barrister-at-Law, was born in 1975. At the age of 14, Terry commenced his boarding school life in England. After receiving 3As in his A-levels, Terry attended Imperial College of London where he achieved a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Influenced by his elder brother Lester, Terry read Law at University of Westminster in London.
Terry returned to Hong Kong in 1998, achieving his Postgraduate Certificate in Laws at the Hong Kong University. In 1999, Terry was called to the Hong Kong Bar. During his pupillage, Terry was trained by four pupil masters who are specialised in Criminal Law, Personal Injury, Intellectual Property and Civil Litigation respectively.
